Our approach
Movipova turns viral video trends into templates. We respect copyright and respond to clear notices of infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws elsewhere.
If you own a clip, song or other work used in one of our templates or examples and do not want it there, tell us: we remove or change that template rather than argue about it.
How to send a notice
Email support@movipova.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:
- The work you own (a link or description).
- Where it appears on Movipova (the page or template URL).
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by you, your agent or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the right or may act for its owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).
What we do
We review complete notices within 48 hours. If the notice is valid we remove or disable the material, tell the affected user where a user upload or result is involved, and reply to you.
Videos made by users are private to their account and deleted on our retention schedule; we cannot remove copies a user has already downloaded or posted elsewhere.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, email support@movipova.com with the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live (or, outside the US, any district where Movipova may be found). We may restore it after 10 business days unless the claimant tells us they have filed a court action.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
